how this nackground came a bout is a long story. suffice it to say I gave up too soon when I was working on a background several months ago - this is the very same background I had hated so much then, but I gave it a couple tweaks and am now very satisfied with it. I think the pic looks MUCH more finished with a background.
Holy crap! That's really really cool!! Very nice pose and I love the backround!!
Woot! Background! Hurrah!
wow! i'm very impressed alex. the bg does wonderful things for this pic.
wheee thank you my dear! Oh, but now I see that the books under the table are at absolutely the wrong angle and it's driving me maaaad! MAAAAD I tell you! Oh well, anyway I'm still mostly happy with it mainly because it's two pics stuck together nearly successfully. Thanks for commenting, love! I miss you!!!
She looks very tired, it's very cool, I like it.
This is really cool The background really adds a lot to it I think, and yet becasue it isn't "in focus" it doesn't take away anything from the main subject of the image. Great lineart as well I'd love to see a bit more in the way of highlights on the clothing, but it's a great piece ^_^
That's exactly the effect I was going for! It's so gratifying to know it was effective. Thank you!
I love it, I thought it was a photograph from the thumbnail ^^ You really did a good job with the details, something I always tend to rush, and the scene is captivating, great work!
Thank you! I nearly always rush at the end of a picture, but in this case I redid the details several months after I thought I was done. It's useful to get a fresh look at something after a break. I'm glad you liked it!
