Coming from a post-apocalyptic Earth, she has had stones fused with her body by advanced technology. In her culture, all ancient technology (ancient being pre-apocalypse) is sacred, considered "magical." She is a Magilor, one of the people who use secret technology to heal. She is particularly interested in the pre-apocalyptic concept of Doctors - that is why she operates under the sign of the cadeuces, one of the things she has discovered fom the 'sacred' past. Personality-wise, she is intelligent and even-tempered, apt to see both sides of an argument. The only thing that will get her riled up is someone's abuse of nature - if she were in our times she'd be a die-hard tree-hugger.

I took a long time on this one - redesigned part of her outfit from the original sketch and then spent a long time on the coloring. I am still unhappy with the shading on her skin - it is too flat and not glowing or living enough, in my opinion - but I like her eyes and I think her hair turned out well. Yes, her eyes are pale yellow. All of her colors can be found in moss agates, and the stones on her are actually transmuted from a picture of a necklace made from moss agates (oooo, authentic!) The background is a Moss Agate as well, obviously zoomed in some.

EDIT: Sorry if there've been multiple reuploads of this thing showing up - I have been trying to get a size that will work better with DA - they don't seem to want to show the preview on my front page or even non-full-sized. It's really annoying. Just click on it to see it fully and it usually shows up - but I guess it's too big a file or something preview-wise...maybe I should have a separate preview pic instead... At any rate, I also used the opportunity to clean it up some and fix things that were bothering me. Go me.
